VACANCY NOTICE
The Emergency Cardiac Care Department of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados (HSFB) invites qualified individuals to apply for the following positions:
- Full Time BLS Instructor & Part-Time BLS Instructor
Requirements:
A certified current American Heart Association BLS Instructor ecard with at least 5 years’ experience.
Must also be able to teach the Basic Life Support Course, the Heartsaver Course and the Pediatric First Aid Course to laypersons and healthcare providers.
Must have good teaching and leadership skills.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must have transportation to be able to teach offsite courses.
Must be able to schedule courses and manage daily courses.
Must be able to work on Saturdays when necessary.
The hours for the Full Time BLS Instructor are 8.30am- 4.30pm Monday- Friday and the hours for the Part- Time BLS Instructor are 8.30am- 12.30pm or 12.30pm – 4.30pm as needed.
