TEAM work makes the DREAM work! As part of its ongoing advocacy efforts, the HSFB team has engaged in numerous community outreach activities throughout the course of the first phase of the childhood obesity prevention project.

In November, 2018, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados, led by Professor Anne St. John and Dr. Grace Showan, and supported by Dr. Janelle Bryan, Champion for the Childhood Obesity Prevention Campaign and also Chair of the National Taskforce on Wellness and Member of the National NCD Commission and Mrs. Greta Yearwood, celebrated the launch of ‘school moves’ health clubs at several model schools participating in the ‘Stop! Yuh too Sweet!’ campaign.
