He was PI on the PAHO- US CDC Global Standardized Hypertension Treatment Project (GSHTP) – Barbados Pilot. The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados, Director, Mrs. Anne Reid Mrs. Lisa Gale is an experienced trade policy advisor, economist and tutor who spent almost a decade working as a senior advisor to Government on International Trade Policy. Until recently she held the post as Executive Director of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). From January 2010 to March 2017 Lisa spearheaded the BCCI’s efforts to advance private sector interests leading to increased business facilitation. Before demitting office, she was lauded for the several stakeholder relationships which have been fostered under her stewardship. The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados, Director, Mrs. Anne Reid Dr. Dawn Scantlebury obtained her MBBS and DM (Internal Medicine) degrees from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, Barbados in 1998 and 2005, respectively. She completed training in cardiology with subspecialties of echocardiography and interventional cardiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota in 2015. She is a consultant cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and senior associate lecturer in cardiology, UWI. Her areas of interest include interventional cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac rehabilitation. Read more..
